Our Mission

The goal and purpose of the Arkansas Boll Weevil Eradication Foundation is to carry out the programs of boll weevil eradication, suppression, and containment to rid the state of the boll weevil Anthonomus grandis Boheman, and to maintain the eradicated environment in the post-eradication program to benefit all segments of the cotton industry in Arkansas.

A majority of our Board of Directors have been farming cotton all their lives. They are passionate about their work, serving the farmers of our beautiful state, and a big part of that is educating and continuing the legacy of maintaining the eradication of boll weevils and ensuring the next generation is equipped to continue the legacy!
