Benton Felts – Board Member

Benton has many years of experience serving farmers and farming himself. As a fourth-generation farmer, Benton grew up alongside his grandfather, father, and uncle on their operation in Mississippi County. Benton previously served as president of his local Farm Bureau board and currently serves as a delegate to the National Cotton Council. He is passionate about cotton and all things related to agriculture.

Benton believes the Arkansas Boll Weevil Eradication Program is an example of what can be accomplished when people work toward a common goal. His purpose for serving on the Arkansas Boll Weevil Eradication Foundation Board is to protect the hard work that went into eradicating the boll weevil in Arkansas and ensuring future generations of farmers aren’t affected by the same challenges that cotton farmers before them faced.
