When he is not busy performing his duties as Vice Chairman of the Arkansas Boll Weevil Eradication Foundation, or those that come with being a board member of the Arkansas Ag Council, Chicot NRCS Board, his county Farm Bureau organization, or one of the many other organizations he serves – Joe still finds time to farm cotton near his hometown of Lake Village.

For someone that comes from a multi-generational cotton farming family, Joe knows the hardships cotton farmers once faced when the boll weevil was rampant. He credits the industry’s forefathers from the early beginnings of the Foundation’s establishment and their foresight for the success cotton growers enjoy today.
