Gregg Garner – Secretary

According to Gregg, the impact made by the Arkansas Boll Weevil Eradication Foundation in conjunction with the national Boll Weevil Eradication Program, is one of the cotton industry’s greatest achievements since the invention of the cotton gin. Gregg is quick to point out the positive economic growth the program has facilitated within the industry, the increased environmental sustainability that has resulted from its success, and how it has encouraged producers to practice responsible stewardship on their own farms.

Gregg, who is a fourth-generation farmer from Craighead County, has been in the ginning business since 1969 though he was growing cotton long before that, along with rice, corn, soybeans and peanuts.
