Ramey Stiles – Board Member

Ramey is a dedicated, fourth-generation cotton farmer. While Ramey manages a diversified operation, cotton has always been his primary crop. He learned from his father that compared to other crops, growing cotton requires more work and intense management. Despite the extra effort though, Ramey says the rewards are great if you stick with it through the hard times - one of those rewards being the beauty of harvest season.

Ramey is an advocate for the cotton industry and the growers who support it. He currently serves as the director of Cotton Incorporated, director and vice chair of Farm Credit Midsouth, and director of his local Farm Bureau board. He also serves on the Agriculture Council of Arkansas. His goal for serving as a member of the Arkansas Boll Weevil Eradication Foundation Board is to ensure the program continues operating at a low cost for producers while keeping the boll weevil out of Arkansas.
